Blessed with a warm, sunny climate, lively resorts, seafront bars and bustling beaches, holidays in Malta are perfect for all ages. With beautiful towns and fun resorts, Malta holidays offer the best of both worlds, and with its cracking climate you can expect blue skies all year round. Feel the warm sand between your toes, take long walks along the cliffs or island-hop to Comino and enjoy a dip in the Blue Lagoon – the choices are endless. From Sliema and St Paul's Bay to Bugibba and Qawra, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to resorts and places to top up your tan.

Best of Malta's beaches

From golden swathes to red sand beaches and blue lagoons, Malta offers gorgeous beaches and almost year-round sunshine. A boat trip to Comino's Blue Lagoon lets you explore the mesmerising azure water at your own pace. For lively activities and beach fun, head to Mellieha Bay, Ghajn Tuffieha, and Golden Bay. And for some quiet time, try the smaller beaches at the tip of Malta, overlooking Gozo such as Paradise Bay and Armier.

Day trips to Gozo

Gozo is known for its tranquil, leisurely tempo and beautiful waters. This charming little sister island is greener, smaller, and quieter than its neighbours – but perfect for those who want to soak up the scenery and don a snorkel in the crystal-clear waters. The island also boasts picturesque villages, beachfront cafés and some great restaurants to dine in. Be sure to take your camera, the rugged landscape and spectacular coastline of the island await.

Head to Popeye Village

The former film set of the 1980's hit Popeye is now a popular tourist and family attraction which sits in Sweethaven village, near Mellieha’s Anchor Bay. Meet the characters, be a star on set and admire the colourful buildings. Plus you've got pools, trampolines and puppet shows to keep you entertained, so tiny tots will love this small theme park!

Nights Out in Malta

Bugibba, the largest resort on the island, offers lively evenings with Irish pubs, karaoke bars and club lounges to check out. St Paul's Bay and Qawra are brimming with excellent bars, clubs and restaurants that  should not be missed. Before you head out, be sure to hit the waterfront for restaurants with spectacular sea views.
