Aquamare Beach Hotel & Spa is a brand new deluxe hotel, opened in July 2006. Facilities
The hotel provides an extensive range of facilities and services including a 24 hour reception, laundry and valet service, car rental, taxi service, foreign exchange, medical service on call, secretarial and courier services, internet stations, covered and uncovered parking. The hotel has two fully equipped conference rooms and can cater for business, weddings or events.
The hotel offers a swimming pool with jacuzzi, indoor pool (heated in the winter), tennis court, a fully equipped fitness and wellness centre, aerobic room, two saunas, Jacuzzi, table tennis and beach volleyball.
For the younger guests there is the Dolphin Kid''s Club which is located on the ground floor and surrounded by gardens. The club is open daily offering various daily supervised activities for children of all ages. It is open from April to October and open on Mondays & Thursdays from 10:00 to 12:00 and then again from 14:00 to 17:00 and on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 14:00 to 17:00. Baby sitting, early meals and high chairs available on request.
The hotel has three restaurants offering a wide range of local and exotic dishes in elegant surroundings. The Kirke restaurant serves a delightful breakfast buffet and a la carte lunch menu, the Ambrosia restaurant serves delicious theme night dinner and the Nereus Restaurant serves an a-la carte menu. The hotel also offers a pool bar which serves a selection of snacks and beverages and there is also a lounge bar.
Rooms Description
The hotel itself consists of 123 rooms, all equipped with the modern conveniences expected of a luxury four star hotel.
All of the rooms have king-size or twin beds, individually controlled air-conditioning/heating, satellite TV with pay movies and radio, electronic safe box, mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, telephone, en suite bathroom with bath and shower, complimentary toiletries, dressing table with two armchairs, and a balcony with table and chairs.
Family room for up to 4 (max 3 adults/1 child) similar to a standard room with king size bed and fold-out sofa bed.
Board Basis
Meal Types available at Aquamare Beach Hotel
Bed & Breakfast: Bed & Breakfast means buffet breakfast is the only meal at the hotel included in the price. Giving you complete freedom over lunch and dinner outside the hotel.
Half Board: Half board means buffet breakfast and buffet/set menu dinner and are to be taken in the main buffet restaurant.
Full Board: Full Board consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet/set menu style and are to be taken in the main buffet restaurant at the hotel. Drinks are not included unless specified.
Hotel Location
The hotel is positioned only 3km from Paphos harbour where there is a array of restaurants, bars and shopping. The resort of Paphos is approx 23km from Paphos Airport and approx 130km from Larnaca Airport.
NOTE
We have been informed that a 3rd party construction has re-started next to the Aquamare Hotel.
This is a new hotel in the late stage of completion .
According to the Aquamare Beach Hotel , the noise disturbance is low to null but the view from the hotel is affected by a crane and the unfinished building.
We have no details or info about the work being done/to be done nor when the new hotel will be finished ..
We do know that work is mainly in completion stage therefore there is no drilling or heavy machinery so far except the crane ( no noise but unsightly) .
We have asked the hotel to allocate rooms in the least affected part of the hotel but, as the building is next door , the view from the rooms and the beach is affected.
