Getting Around
Transfer from Dalaman airport takes around two hours and it's recommended to arrange a private transfer or get a taxi. It's best to agree fares in advance and you may want to bring a detailed map of your accommodation/resort with you. The shops, bars and restaurants behind the beach are easy to reach on foot but if you want to explore the area, book a taxi, or enjoy an organised tour by boat, bus or Land Rover.
All About the Beach
Olu Deniz’s gorgeous Blue Flag beach has bagged plenty of awards as one of the best in the world and once you set foot on it, you'll see why. To the west of the beach is the Blue Lagoon, where you can pay a small fee to swim in the calm turquoise waters of this stunning conservation area and, if you’re lucky, spot a turtle or two!
Be Adventurous
Olu Deniz is famous for its paragliding and any thrill seekers that leap off the 1,960 metre Babadag Mountain are rewarded with views of the Blue Lagoon and Butterfly Valley. Alternatively, a huge variety of boat trips, Land Rover safaris and watersports are available for the less daring tourist.
