Sitting on the south west of Turkey's Turquoise Coast is the flourishing town of Fethiye. Climb up to the main Lycian rock tombs in Fethiye, which are worth the effort for the panoramic views it offers, or uncover the site of the Tomb of Amyntas, dating back to the Lycians who were once living there.
Fethiye is a great destination for those who like a mix of activities and beach time. The coastline surrounding the resort is dotted with picturesque coves and beaches. So, whether you explore the cobbled streets of the old town, watch the fountains in the evening near the Town Square or choose to day trip to neighbouring resorts, holidays in Fethiye offer fun for all the family. Do try out Gözleme (a Turkish flatbread), Tarhana soup and other Turkish delicacies at local markets and make it a holiday to remember.
