Getting Around

Taxis are readily available in Sousse, but make sure you agree a price before you get in to avoid disappointments later. Louages act like shared taxis, and can end up costing a fraction of the price of a normal taxi ride. Tuk-tuks and the road train are great fun if you want to travel to nearby Port El Kantaoui. Car hire is a great option if you want to explore the surrounding area, or why not choose to go at a slower pace and soak up the scenery in a horse-drawn carriage?

Blissful Boujaffar Beach

Sousse has a handful of blissful beaches with vast expanses of sand and inviting crystal-clear waters. But the most famous is perhaps Boujaffar Beach, a long stretch dotted with chic restaurants, cafes and hotels. Parts of the beach are off limits to locals so visitors can relax on a sunlounger and get a tan. You can also indulge in watersports, with equipment easily available on hire.

Spot Flamingos In Friguia Park

Friguia Park sits between Sousse and Port El Kantaoui and is full of creatures from the animal kingdom. From lions and flamingos to cheetahs and sealions, the park aims to protect endangered species and provides a wonderful place for them to live. Kids can ride on camels and donkeys, and you can also swim with dolphins!
