Getting Around

Flights to the Costa Blanca sunshine land in Alicante Airport, where it’s possible to hire a car, take a taxi or board a bus to get to your resort. Once in your resort, taxis are readily available, although most places are accessible on foot.

There are plenty of things to do on your holiday in Costa Blanca:

 

Hit the beach – Granadella beac in Javea being one of the most famous beaches of Spain, with its crystal-clear waters, two marine caves that can be visited in kayak.

 

Have a swim in Banos de la Reina - These baths are actually Roman architectural remains where you can bathe in the waters of the Mediterranean, which makes for an unforgettable experience.

 

Visit Valor Chocolate Museum – Explore multimedia displays covering the history of cocoa cultivation and the chocolate-making process in Villajoyosa, a beautiful fishing village, south of Benidorm.

 

Go on a bike tour – One of the most scenic routes starts at the Alcoy railway station and continuous through the pine forests of the Carrascal de la Font Roja Natural Park.

 

Take part in Bonfires of Saint John - While the whole festival lasts for 5 days, the inauguration of the fiestas comes at midnight, on 23 June, as the summer solstice takes place.

Sightseeing in Costa Blanca


Costa Blanca offers an abundance of stunning sites to see and explore:
Guadalest - A village that appears perched on a tiny pinnacle. This gives beautiful views of the green valley with many other mountains in the background.
Tabarca island – Close to the Santa Pola’s coast, the island has a large number of historical wonders, including the walled citadel of Carlos III. 
Prades Mountains – Also called the "Crown of Aragon". The mountains are developed primarily for eco-tourism, with natural parks, camping opportunities, hiking trails and rock climbing.
Fuentes del Algar - A small natural place, located 3km from the center of Callosa d´en Sarrià, is full of waterfalls and springs that rise from the mountain. 
Gandia - Situated on the Costa del Azahar, the seaside city of Gandia is a picture-perfect beach with golden sands as well as nature parks and historic monasteries.

Pele Pub, Alicante - The feature of this popular bar is serving good juane and tasty laing. The nice decor and spectacular ambiance let guests feel relaxed.
KM Club, Benidorm – With a capacity for more than 5,000 people, KM is one of the largest and most popular dance clubs in the region. 
Benidorm Palace, Benidorm – This venue offers a night of glamour at the colourful cabaret show. Daring stunts and high-kick dancing are performed by the club’s dancers.
 
Saxo Disco Garden, Moraira - It offers live music performances, and the resident DJ plays through the night, making it a great venue to try out during your next Calpe holiday.
Zensa, Denia - The standout features are the private pool and the spectacular lighting dome above the seating area that juts out into the marina.
