Rhodes Town is the capital city of the island of Rhodes. Rhodes has a host of beautiful beaches suited to all types of sun-worshipper, from Blue Flag stretches fringed with watersports activities to sleepy bays away from the hustle and bustle. Faliraki beach serves up lashings of fun with buzzing bars and restaurants backing the sands and a string of activities including parasailing and jet-ski hire. Agathi beach and Kalithea beach are much quieter stretches, with sun-loungers, snack huts and even remains of Roman architecture. In the evenings, indulge in fantastic Greek cuisine at restaurants such as Romeo or Rustico, both located in Town before heading to lively Bar Street for after-sun cocktails.
