Getting Around
Malia is about 40km from Heraklion airport. It’s easy to get a bus or pre-book a taxi into the resort. Car hire is also widely available in resort and from the airport but if you’re planning a week or two of clubbing and chilling there is no real need as Malia and its amenities are easily located on foot. Taxis are available to take you around the resort if you require.

Visit Top Beaches like Central
Malia boasts a great choice of sandy beaches lined with shops and bars. The main attraction is the central beach, which is where Malia’s tourists go to sunbathe and snooze off the excesses of the night before. If you can manage to get up early the beaches can be surprisingly quiet before the party people surface!
Malia Nightlife
The music’s pounding and the drinks are cheap along Malia’s Strip. Reflex Bar is a great choice for 80s nostalgia but if you fancy something a bit more sophisticated, Drossia Cocktail Bar is a good choice. Clubs are ten a penny but Apollo and Candy Club are a good way to discover the delights of Malia’s nightlife.

Malia is full of natural and historical sites that cry out to be explored. What better way to tour the island than on a quad-bike or a jeep? Zoom through little known villages and lush landscapes via rough and ready dirt tracks where you can catch a glimpse of local Cretan life and view its natural beauty's up-close.
