The main beach in Kavos stretches 8km long and its wonderfully calm waters, and it’s where all the action takes place. If you want something more peaceful, there’s a tranquil beach about 10 minutes away in Asprokavos, where you can lie back on the sands and soak up the Greek sunshine for hours. Choose from a range of watersports, from speedboat rides to jet-skiing, as well as bungee-jumping. Take a break from the beaches and hang out in the lively bars and cafés on the sands.

Day trips to Paxos and Corfu

Of course, Kavos has its wealth of party boats. There are also snorkelling excursions if you fancy swimming rather than cocktails. Or take a boat ride to the peaceful island of Paxos, where you can explore the olive groves of the village Lakka, waterfront taverns in Loggos and shop at chic Gaois. You can also explore the unique sea caves of Papanikolis, cruise the Blue Lagoon and enjoy lunch at the fishing village of Sivota. Corfu, the island’s capital, is less than one-hour drive away. Marvel over the old fortress and iconic buildings, or ride on horses through the rolling hills, before stopping to admire views of pretty bays and impressive gorges.
