Add an amazing year-round climate and it’s easy to see how Fort Myers holidays tick all the boxes. A trip to the scenic Sanibel island’s beach is the perfect way to unwind, where you can soak in the sunshine and paddle in the sea, or up the tempo at Cayo Costa where you'll be met by a flurry of watersports stretching across the 9-mile sands, and backed by a lush memorial park. There is lots to see and do in Fort Myers beyond the beaches too, with spectacular shopping centres including Miromar Outlets and the famous Edison Mall, splash-tastic waterparks fit for family holidays and fantastic food stops.
If you have a sweet tooth, don't leave Fort Myers without indulging in a marvellous Maple Bacon Donut and a cup of fresh ground coffee at Bennett's Fresh Roast, or in the evening head to one of the beaches fantastic restaurants and bars offering live entertainment. If you're travelling to Fort Myers in March, you can catch the baseball Spring Training games between big-time teams including the Red Sox and the Twins!
