The Larnaca district of Cyprus is close to the airport, so your transfers won’t take very long at all. Its namesake city, Larnaca, is one of the most important cities on the island, so getting around is easy with the help of public transport including buses and taxis. You can hire cars and motorbikes to take you between the coastal resorts of the region, all of which are easy to explore on foot or bicycle.
If you're looking for an energetic evening, Larnaca's nightlife will never disappoint. Buzzing beachgoers should head to Mackenzie beach and the XS Night & Day Club, where cocktails can be enjoyed with your toes in the sand. For drinks, a stroll around Old Limassol and Saripolou Square is a good place to start where you can hop between stylish venues – InTheory, Socialista, Salut and Meli Bar, are all firm favourites. Those that want to keep the party going can head into Ayia Napa's clubs, where foam is all part of the fun!
Larnaca is famous for its seaside position and it’s beautiful coastal walkaway is where you can have both your morning coffee and your evening beer. Potter along the palm-lined promenade during the day or at night and you'll be surrounded by a spectacular scene of buzzing restaurants, cafes and bars, which in summer fully revs up for the annual flood of holidaymakers. At one end you can marvel at the magnificent marina mooring yachts, whilst on the other you'll find a museum and a castle to keep you occupied.
