For the adventurous and nature lovers alike, Costa del Silencio has some impressive off-road mountain biking and hiking routes to try out. Or if you have the kids in tow, exciting Siam Park is just outside of the resort, one of Europe’s largest water parks ready and waiting for a splash-tastic time! Getting Around
Tenerife is easy to navigate with a range of transport readily available here. The public buses are a cheap way for visitors to explore the island, but most holidaymakers tend to use taxis and hire cars as they offer that extra flexibility during your stay. There's No Beach, But...
Costa del Silencio doesn’t have a beach per se, (despite being a purpose-built resort) however a short journey to Las Galletas will allow you to spend a wonderful day on the sand. You can sunbathe on the fine sandy shores, basking in the Spanish sunshine and feeling the world melt away. Book a diving session to explore the depths of the Atlantic, go paddle boarding or simply splash around in the waves.
Action & Adventure
With Costa del Silencio being a quiet and calm resort, you might have to go a little bit further out to partake in some fun physical excursions. If golfing is your thing, there are some fabulous courses nearby including Golf courses Golf del Sur, Amarilla Golf and Golf los Palos. If real golf seems a bit daunting and 18 holes is a bit too long away from your sun lounger, why not try minigolf instead? If you’d rather have a bit more of a workout, book a session at one of the nearby tennis courts where you can practice being the next Roger or Serena. There are also beaches suited for naturists, which are perfect for those free spirits who fancy an all-over tan!
