Getting Around

Fuerteventura Airport is a 40-minute drive away from Costa Calma so transport to your hotel shouldn’t take too long. Boat companies are available to travel to around Fuerteventura or to neighbouring islands, such as day trips to Lobos Island. You can hire a vehicle to explore the resort or grab a taxi.

Costa Calma Coast


The beach in Costa Calma is nearly 2km long and boasts gorgeous white sand and a lapis lazuli-coloured ocean that laps the shore. With many hotels located on the coastline offering stunning views of the Atlantic, all you’ll need to do is walk over to the stunning beach and settle in for the day. With all sorts of watersport activities available, you can hire splash-tastic jet skis, go kite-surfing or even paddleboarding. The sandy beach fringes the resort town, so once you’ve soaked up the sun and dipped in the sea, why not explore the town and grab a spot of lunch? With shops and cafes nearby, you're sure to find something that suits.

This quiet village of Costa Calma was converted into a tourist town, with large hotels and guest villas popping up over the years. The visitors range from older couples looking for some peace and quiet, to families after beach fun, and couples and singles looking to enjoy some sunshine. There's plentiful cafes, restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evenings offering delicious local delicacies as well as international cuisine. With affordable eateries available as well as high-end restaurants, the many eateries cater to all tastes with vegetarian friendly spots and even pub food.
