Hidden behind a dune-lined nature reserve on the sunny south coast of Menorca is the pretty hillside resort of Son Bou. This popular tourist town is abuzz with activity yet maintains its laid-back vibe. Brilliant white stretches of sand gently slope into the sea on Menorca’s longest beach and despite being a busy spot, there's always a space to prop up your sun lounger. You'll find fun for all the family on Son Bou holidays, so you’ll never be short of entertainment. Hit the resort’s bowling alley, whizz through the waterparks and bust some moves at the mini-disco - there is plenty to explore during your holidays in Son Bou. You can even hop on the mini-train and jump off at popular spots around the resort, or venture further afield and head into the capital of Mahon for historic sights, bustling squares and spectacular seafood restaurants!
If you want to experience Son Bou’s nightlife then you will find plenty of lively bars and excellent restaurants in the centre of town. Son Bou is also a hub for Menorca's nightclubs, where parties don’t stop before 3 or 4 in the morning. For a bigger party scene head to Cala Santandria or Mahon for its larger choice of clubs and bars. The nearest airport from Son Bou is Menorca Airport, which is 20km and just 25-minute drive away from the resort. You can hire a taxi or take a shuttle service from the airport to reach Son Bou.
