Situated on Menorca’s stunning south coast is the hilly terrain of Cala Galdana, a small family-friendly resort set around a sandy horseshoe cove. Make a splash in its shallow turquoise waters or lay your towel down on its soft white sands, before exploring the bars that back the beach on the pretty promenade. Spend your Cala Galdana holidays flitting between the sand and the modern streets, or go on a day trip to the nearby town of Ferreries and explore its farmer’s market where you can pick up some local honey and cheese.
If you fancy some more beach action head to the fun resort of Son Bou, which is home to the island's longest sandy stretch. You won’t be short of entertainment during your holidays to Cala Galdana, with attractions including mini-golf, water parks, a children’s disco every night and plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy - ideal if you're on family holidays. Don’t miss out on Menorca’s famous horse show for an evening with a difference, too!
Cala Galdana is best visited during the months of May to October, although it's highly crowded during this part of the year. The winters are a little harsh but if you want to enjoy the serenity of Cala Galdana, you must try it in December. This relaxing resort is great for families and friends looking for a laid-back break by the beach and the range of great-value hotels cater for all-inclusive luxury, full board holidays, self-catering facilities, half board hotels in Cala Galdana and great value 3, 4 and 5-star accommodation.
