Getting Around
Playa de Muro is well-connected by the public transport buses, so visitors can access all of the tourist hot spots easily and for affordable prices. Taxis can be hired at reasonable fares. A private car can be hired to explore the resort at one’s own convenience.
Pick Up Some Pi Amb Oli
Pa amb Oli, put simply, is slices of brown Majorcan bread rubbed with a raw garlic clove and half a Ramallet tomato produced locally with olive oil sprinkled on. Order a topping of your choice to compliment this delicious, tapas-friendly bite. Another simple but delicious starter is Pimientos de Padrón, peppers fried in olive oil with a side of Aioli – a foodie heaven!
Playa De Muro's Beaches
Three of the four beaches in Playa de Muro are Blue Flags and a favourite for families thanks to the shallow, clear waters. Divided into four sectors, guests have a choice of soaking up the sun near Port d’Alcudia with watersports, restaurants and bars, visiting the less busy Es Brac sector, or the even quieter stretch known as Es Comu – with unspoilt sand dunes and trees forming part of the S’Albufera Natural Park.
