Getting Around

Walking is the best way to get around Cala D’Or, but there are several bus routes if you wish to venture further, including a regular service to Palma, the island’s capital. There are two mini road trains to Cala Egos and Cala Esmerelda, and frequent boat trips along the coast allow you to discover more of the coastline with ease. Of course, car hire offers the ultimate freedom and taxis are also available.

Discover the Quintet of Coves

Cala D’Or has five coves (and an extra two nearby), each with its own charm and character. Soft, shelving sands meet shallow, turquoise waters that beg to be paddled in and are ideal for kids. Surrounded by fragrant pine forests, the coves are amazingly picturesque – visit them all if you can!
