Es Cana is an idyllic beach resort situated on the island of Ibiza. Located at a distance of 30km from the more popular beach of San Antonio, Es Cana can be reached by private car in less than 40 minutes. Once you are there, you’ll be greeted by blue, calm waters, rocky cliffs and the quaint charm of an old fishing village. But don’t be fooled by its rustic charm, for Es Cana has a lively atmosphere bustling with tourists sunbathing, indulging in watersports and enjoying the bars and restaurants of the island.
The beauty of the island is unrivalled. Blessed with one of the longest beaches of the island, Es Cana holidays centre around its stunning crescent-shaped stretch, which is a hot spot for tourists. Lounge on the beach soaking up the year-round Balearic sunshine, or for a change of scene visit the vibrant hippie market, which takes place every Wednesday at Punta Arabi. The market is famous for exquisite trinkets and jewellery made from metal, wood, precious and semi-precious stones. Every July, the town also decks up to celebrate the festival of Saint Christopher with colourful processions and glorious fireworks.
